Functioning as a core unit of the hospital, the General Medicine department in HMC has been actively involved in providing top quality comprehensive healthcare in Kochi.

Our physician with decades of clinical experience handles the prevention, diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of various ailments for patients above the age of 14 years. Care for children is handled by our Pediatricians.

Serving as a base specialty, the department provides evidence based clinical evaluation of the patients' condition for diagnosis and treatment. This evaluation also serves as a reference for other multi-disciplinary specialists, if the situation warrants organ-specific advanced care.
